Oasis is a space for everyone. This page provides information to help students and visitors understand the available access features and plan their visit. If you need any assistance before or during your visit, please connect with an Oasis staff member in centre or via email.

Entrance
The main entrance to Oasis is located opposite Car Park 5 on humanities road. A concrete path leads to the entrance on Level 1 of the building. The entrance has automatic doors leading to the foyer where you can access the stairs or lift to Oasis on level 0.

Lifts
There is one lift available at Oasis. The lift is located to the right of the main entrance, in the foyer. It provides access between Level 1 and Level 0. The lift can accommodate most wheelchairs; however, some larger powered wheelchairs or mobility aids may not fit.

Parking
Flinders University provides designated accessible parking bays across the Bedford Park campus. Car Park 5 is the closest parking area to Oasis and includes both general parking and designated accessible parking bays. Accessible parking bays require a valid Australian Disability Parking Permit. These bays are located on the bottom and top levels of the car park. The accessible parking bays are approximately 80 metres from the entrance. Ramp access is available from the top level of the car park. Please note there is no cover between the car park and the centre, so visitors should be mindful during wet weather conditions.
Wheelchairs and Mobility Devices
Oasis is accessible for most wheelchairs and mobility devices. Some larger powered wheelchairs or mobility devices may have difficulty accessing certain areas due to space limitations. This may include the lift and smaller navigational spaces. If you have specific access requirements or would like to discuss accessibility before your visit, please contact Oasis via email.

Toilets
An Accessible gender neutral/unisex toilet is available on Level 0.
Ambulant cubicles are also available in the male and female cubicles

Seating
A range of seating options is available throughout Oasis. Tables and chairs are available in the kitchen area, while couches are available in the common and lounge areas. Outdoor seating is also available. Tables, chairs and couches can all be moved around to provide space for manoeuvring if necessary. If additional space is required for a wheelchair or other mobility device, please speak with a staff member. Staff can assist with finding suitable seating. The outdoor seats have arm rests and can be relocated inside if needed to aid mobility
