Forest Walks

Nature walks are a known wellbeing promoter.

In fact, if you can spend at least 120 minutes per week in nature, there are measurable health and mental health benefits. With that in mind we invite you to join an Oasis Forest Walks 🌴🌲🌳

On the Bedford Park campus, we have access to scrub and pine forest land that makes for excellent walks and opportunities to connect with nature to enhance our wellbeing.

Join Dave (Flinders Coordinating Chaplain) to explore this beautiful wilderness on our doorstep.

Starting this year in Semester 1, Forest walk will be run weekly on Fridays* from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

Meet at Oasis at 10.15am to leave via the Garden entrance.

*Please note Forest Walk won’t run if the weather forecast is 34 degrees or above and/or in inclement weather. See our socials for weekly weather advice.

Please ensure you wear appropriate closed footwear, appropriate clothing and bring a water bottle.

Check out the Loop Trail, Flinders University at Walking SA for the trail.

You can learn some more about ‘forest bathing’ in this article from the Blue Zones website.
