OASIS – BEDFORD PARK

Where: OASIS on the Bedford Park campus – opposite car park 5

Opening Hours: 6:00am to 10:00pm 7 days a week

Access: 9:00am to 5:00pm no swipe card required. Access outside these hours available with your student card. This can be arranged through Service One (see instructions at the bottom of this page). For any issues please contact oasis@flinders.edu.au

 

McHUGH’s – BEDFORD PARK

Where: McHugh’s building (C10 on campus map) is located behind the Physical Sciences buildings. The prayer rooms are located on the lower level (head down the stairs to your right as you enter McHugh’s).

Opening Hours: 6:00am to 10:00pm 7 days a week

Access: By swiping your student card. A Service One access request is required to have prayer room access added to your card (see instructions at the bottom of this page)

 

STURT, SOUTH CAMPUS

Where: Sturt South Campus. Rooms S322 (Male) & S323 (Female).

Opening Hours: 6:00am to 10:00pm 7 days a week

Access: By swiping your student card. A Service One access request is required to have prayer room access added to your card (see instructions at the bottom of this page)

 

TONSLEY

Where: Prayer rooms are located on the ground floor of the Tonsley building. Both prayer rooms are next to the change rooms.

Opening Hours: 24hours, 7 days a week.

Access: Swipe access is required to enter the building outside the hours of 7:45am and 6pm M-F. You will not need to swipe your card again to enter the prayer rooms. A Service One access request is NOT required to access Tonsley prayer rooms, all students have automatic 24/7 access.

 

CITY CAMPUS

Where: Festival Plaza, North Terrace, Adelaide – Level 4 (Male) and Level 5 (Female)

Opening Hours: During campus opening hours from 7am to 6pm M-F.

Access: No swipe card required for entry to the prayer rooms. For access to the building out of normal campus opening hours, a Service One access request is required (see instructions at the bottom of this page). This will extend access to 10pm M-F and provide access from 8am – 6pm on weekends by swiping your student card.

PLEASE NOTE: City campus access requests may take some time to be approved/applied as this goes through building security rather than Flinders security.

 

HEALTH & MEDICAL RESEARCH BUILDING

Where: HMRB, Flinders Village, (adjacent to Flinders Medical Centre and Flinders Private Hospital Adelaide) – Multi Faith Room (Rm 252), Level 2 (Male & Female)

Opening Hours: 6:00am to 10:00pm 7 days a week

Access: Swipe access is not needed to enter the prayer rooms, however access to the building requires swipe card access available via application through Service One (see instructions at the bottom of this page).

 

CHAPEL AT FLINDERS MEDICAL CENTRE

The Flinders Medical Centre Multi-Faith Chapel is located on level 4, around the corner from the Frog lifts. It is a quiet place, open from 8am to 8pm for prayer and contemplation and has two Muslim Prayer Corners and prayer mats.

A Spiritual Care Chaplain will respond as soon as possible and will triage any specific requests or faith traditions.

To raise a Service One access request

follow the link to Service One and complete the ‘Building or room access’ online form. Security will action this and you will receive a Service One confirmation to your Flinders emails once this is complete. Should you require assistance please contact oasis@flinders.edu.au. Note: once you have registered for access, you can use any location to pray.
