Just a quick message to all Flinders Staff and Students to wish you a happy and rejuvenating holiday period!

I think the word ‘bonkers’ accurately captures 2020 and we believe everyone deserves a good break. Whether you are heading home, staying here in Adelaide, travelling, working, studying or just pottering around in the garden (my choice of holiday), I hope you can find some time rest, refresh and recharge for 2021 (if you are looking for stuff to do, try the Summer Break Series).

We’ve been busily working in the background to start putting together the Oasis program for 2021 and we look forward to letting you know more about it when we return on the 11th January. We have a lot planned and we are not-so-secretly praying that we get to open up the centre a lot more than we were able to during 2020.

So on behalf of the team here at Oasis (Chris, Ali, Gareth, Dave, Deb, Toh, Maria and Lisa), we wish you a very happy holiday.

If you are coming back in 2021, we look forward to catching up again.

If you are moving on (e.g. graduated, new job), then we wish you all the best, and hope you consider staying in touch via the Oasis Facebook page. As a community, we like it when members of our community, even if they have moved to other locations or positions, keep in touch.

Best wishes and take care.

See you soon (●’◡’●)
