The Oasis Student Wellbeing Centre has been an active force in Flinders student wellbeing for years now. With a range of programs from meditation to the Flinders market, we believe there is something for everyone in the Oasis catalogue.
But Oasis isn’t the only wellbeing resource in the university!
In 2024, the Wellbeing Working Group mapped the university wellbeing environment and found activities happening all over the university, from those coming out of wellbeing specific services (like HCDS) through to curriculum initiatives and research programs.
We realised that so many excellent wellbeing initiatives are going unseen by the bulk of the Flinders community.
That is where Better U comes in.
We’re excited to introduce Better U – Flinders University’s new digital hub that showcases everything happening in student wellbeing! 🎉
From programs and events to support services and self-care resources, Better U brings together all the ways Flinders supports student wellbeing in one place. Whether you’re looking for strategies to manage stress, connect with peers, or find support, this site makes it easy to explore your options.
